Rising above the din of competing messages, points of view and contrary opinions doesn't just happen – as our name indicates – it’s both an art and a science. ​ Communications LAB was launched in 2013 but its roots and history go back nearly 20 years. Our founder and CEO, Arianna Barrios, has been a successful public relations and marketing professional for more than 20 years under her own banner of Barrios & Associates. In 2012, Barrios and her husband, Brian Lochrie, began negotiations with Roger Faubel to form a unique partnership with his well respected firm, Faubel Public Affairs, where Lochrie has been President for over a decade. In 2013, Barrios & Associates purchased the Media Relations and Marketing Division of Faubel Public Affairs and entered into a strategic alliance to develop an enhanced professional partnership of community outreach and marketi
