The company was founded by filmmaker Stanley Preston in 1989 as Preston Productions Inc. It began with a 16mm film camera, an SBA small business loan and a handful of loyal clients. Today, we are Maryland Motion Pictures, one of the Mid-Atlantic’s most experienced full service video and film production companies. We use the latest cameras, tools and techniques to tell your story. From two person crews, to a cast and crew of hundreds, we have the experience to appropriately scale each production and deliver results under pressure. We are a small company that understands the big picture. Our business philosophy has always been to keep overhead low and offer competitive pricing. Our production studio is small and efficient.
