Trumaine has a passion for providing opportunities for others to reach beyond their potential and achieve greatness in sports. Mentors like his father, a former NFL player, coaches and friends challenged him in ways that helped influence the dedication and drive for success that he embodies. Following a successful career at University High School in Irvine, CA, Coach Smith went on to play Division I football in Arizona and later professional football in California.
