ARK.Amsterdam

ARK.WORLD is a joint designers venture, founded (*2018) by Roosje Klap and Pauline Le Pape in Amsterdam. ARK is the acronym of Atelier Roosje Klap but represents an open place, which welcomes all collaborations in the design community. Many of ARK’s projects involve close collaboration with specialists from different backgrounds, such as artists, curators, architects, type designers and writers. The research-based interdisciplinary design approach enables ARK to challenge the boundaries of graphic design and create new forms of communication. ARK represents a new generation of graphic designers that not only works on private or public commissions, but also defines their own assignments, creating a new global design membrane. ARK is young, but has confirmed upcoming collaborations with Droog Design, TAAK, Kröller Müller Museum, The KRC Collection, NAI010, Kunsthal Rotterdam, and Transitional School/The Istanbul Design Biennial.
