She spent much of her free time learning and absorbing as much information as possible from business owners, attending events, reading books, listening to podcasts, etc. Working as Marketing Director for the New Paltz Regional Chamber of Commerce helped boost her desire to own her own business even more as she saw a need to help small businesses strategize their marketing.
